ABOUT ME

Meet G-Knee Pittack
I'm G-Knee Pittack—a fine art and portrait photographer blending the past and present through both digital and analog processes. My journey started young, handed down through generations: my mother’s Kodak Brownie, my grandmother’s pinhole camera, and a childhood shaped by the creative worlds of two artist parents. Photography has always been more than a medium for me—it’s a language, a way of seeing beyond the obvious.
Now based in rural Plattsmouth, Nebraska, I live with my husband, four children, three cats, four fainting goats, and a very good dog. When I’m not behind the lens, I’m a resident artist at Hot Shops Art Center in Omaha, continuing to explore the intersection of art, memory, and light.

My Photography Style
I create work that leans into shadow and stillness—images that feel like they live in another world. My style is lowlight, dramatic, and deeply intentional. I specialize in landscape and cityscape photography, night and lowlight scenes, and creative portraiture that captures not just form, but feeling.
Whether shooting on film or digital, in studio or under starlight, I use both modern and historic printing techniques to bring each photograph to life. My work isn’t just about what’s seen, it’s about what’s felt.
